I really really really love this movie! I cried when they are going back to the real world. I can really feel what it feels like. It makes me sad, (T.T) One of my favorites!

@Carlyyzz I love that Mr. Lewis was a mysterious man and never directly said that Aslan was Jesus in his stories of Narnia. However he did make the statement “I did not say to myself ‘Let us represent Jesus as He really is in our world by a Lion in Narnia’; I said, ‘Let us suppose that there were a land like Narnia and that the Son of God, as he became a Man in our world, became a Lion there, and then imagine what would happen.’” I thank God so much for the imagination of C.S. Lewis.

@wertguy12000 I’m muslim. So I don’t know christianity well. Muslims believe that Jesus is ( not was) a prophet an he is a human being without a father. We believe that he now lives at the 3rd floor of the skies and he’ll return to earth soon. Jesus is the 2nd most important prophet of the muslims

@wertguy12000 actually CS Lewis was a athiest who went around the world telling people that there was no god and came to believe in god…amazing life story

@yourrock1 C.S Lewis was a christian. In the bible the Almighty God is depicted as the great lion. The characteristics of aslan match the characteristics of God (christians believe Jesus is God). Think about it. Aslan’s father created narnia. He gave his life for narnia and yet still exists with us today. His books aren’t just a fairy tale they make references

@yourrock1 that may have been the point. they might have sat down and said “lets find out what lion means in a bunch of languages” and Turkish was their favourite so they chose it. the world may never know.

@QueenAwesomenes Yeah. I forgot the lokum ( turkish delight). İt’s so interesting to me that a lion’s name is lion at another langıage.

C.S Lewis wrote the cronicles of narnia, to explain christainity to non-believers. i don’t think anybody could put it a better way. and i love the movies
